David Jones took his small norman craft out with its Bayeux tapestry sails for the first time today in 20 knot plus winds ! "The form of reefing , shields and shape of sail performed beautifully in the force 5/6 winds proving easy to raise, lower and sail."

News teams are to make known to David jones on 07956179556 , or 020 8572 6666 any time constraints or specific shots prior to three o clock so that these can be accommodated. Shortly after three David and a small crew will be towed upwind and t v crews/ photographers will be able to take images from the following speed boat . We will as far as is practical do as many runs as are required . Interviews if required should be notified if possible to allow enough time. As you can imagine this event is weather sensitive and we will require permission from Queen Mary sailing club if conditions are marginal. Anumber of photos have been taken by the club photographer and a separate arrangement with him can be made if conditions are poor and you need previous shots taken.
