One of a set of twelve ebonised chairs commissioned for a 60m yacht, "Honey Money", depicting a range of 12 individual animals, carved in English lime and gilt in 22 carat gold leaf. The fabric is hand dyed velvet, embroidered with a variety of different coloured gold threads. The commission was an interpretation of a yacht interior designer's first drawing.



 

A marquetry panel based on a design by Yan Van Makerin, a Dutch cabinet maker of the 17th century. Six of these marquetry panels grace the restaurant walls of 50 St James', a London Clubs International gaming club near Hyde Park, Central London. Over 30 types of veneer, mother of pearl and abalone shell were used in their manufacture.
One of a pair of mahogany chandeliers approx 4 feet in diameter, embellished with gold leaf and then toned for a private home in Barbados.

Curved reception cupboards in walnut and ash for Cargills' European Headquarters in Cobham, Surrey, England. The curved doors are supported by purpose made hinges incorporating thrust bearing which facilitate the movement of the doors (in excess of 50Kg each)

American cherry, black American walnut and holly inlay. This piece is a DJFM design fulfilling the client's request for a "fun" piece of semi-classical design. The hand-carved heads at the top of the column are modelled on the client - a real individual piece!
